Registering to become a Maryland medical cannabis patient only takes a few minutes, but it's important to complete all the steps. To start, you must be at least 18 years old with a qualifying condition. Patients under the age of 18 are required to have at least one caregiver assigned to their accounts at all times. Only parents or legal guardians 21 years of age and older are eligible to serve as caregivers for minor patients.

Per The Natalie M. LaPrade Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission qualifying medical conditions include, but are not limited to: cachexia, anorexia, wasting syndrome, severe pain, severe nausea, seizures, severe or persistent muscle spasms, glaucoma, post-traumatic stress disorder and chronic pain. We recommend discussing your condition with your doctor to ensure medical cannabis is right for you.

To become a Maryland cannabis patient, follow the steps below:

1) Visit the MMCC to register for the Maryland Medical Cannabis program

2) Speak with a participating doctor for a referral. Not all physicians are registered with the MMCC, so you'll need to find a qualifying doctor. Find a physician here.

3) Once you are approved and have a referral from your physician, you're ready to purchase Prime Extracts at Maryland dispensaries! Click here to find Prime.
